About the Northern lights in Iceland: Classic tour
This tour has one goal, to see the spectacular northern lights in Iceland. You will be picked up at your accommodation in Reykjavik and taken on a guided bus tour to where it is most likely to see the northern lights that evening - this varies from day to day.
Book when you arrive Iceland
We in IceTour recommend you to wait booking any northern lights tour until you arrive Iceland. This is simply because northern lights are unpredictable and we want our customers the best experience when they are in Iceland. Feel free to contact the reception at your hotel / guesthouse and ask how likely it is to view northern lights the next few days while you are in Iceland. You can also check it yourself, through this link. Here you can see the probability of northern lights three days ahead (see the scale on the right under «Aurora forecast»). Although the forecasts indicate that it is going to be northern lights, this is something we can not guarantee as it is the weather that determines.
